Who has the job that makes a greater contribution to the world? Maybe at some point, you'll hit upon the factors that let the wife have her wish of avoiding the difficulties of work.
Also, consider that you might also not be happy with the childcare "grind." It's all grind when you have a bad attitude, isn't it?
