WNU Editor: A person that I trust when it comes to providing me information on combating the pandemic told me last night that while the current vaccination program will lay the foundation for a return to a better life this summer. We are nowhere near out of the woods yet. 

There are tens of millions in the U.S. and Canada who will not take the vaccine, and there are many more who will not heed precautions against infection. This will all but guarantee pockets who will be vulnerable to Covid-19 when the cold weather returns later this year. But the bigger worry are the hundreds of millions around the world who will not get a vaccine anytime soon, and are still vulnerable to infection. 

Bottom line. according to my friend Covid-19 will have plenty of opportunities to mutate into other variants that are immune to vaccines, thereby guaranteeing more lock-downs, travel bans, and crammed ICUs this winter.
