Biden probably wasn’t about to forge bold new directions.... But now Biden’s really in no position to step on anyone’s toes. That could be read to say that Biden's position is stronger than ever. The Party wanted Biden because he would do want they want, and now there's even more reason for them to believe he will. He's boxed in.
